Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply to this site and to working with us.
Who these terms are with
This website is operated by DEVSFLOW Technologies Ltd., a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean DEVSFLOW Technologies Ltd. "You" means anyone using this website or the sites at guarding.devsflow.ca, neuro.devsflow.ca, staffing.devsflow.ca and maintenance.devsflow.ca.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The site is information, not an offer
Everything on this site, including service descriptions, engagement models, timelines, and the price ranges given in our FAQ, is published to help you decide whether to talk to us. It is not a quote, not an offer capable of acceptance, and not a contract.
Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Where that agreement and this website disagree, the agreement applies.
Our technical writing
We publish articles on mobile engineering, including material that touches on regulation such as Canadian privacy law, Quebec's Law 25, and medical device software guidance. That writing is general information based on our engineering experience at the time of publication.
It is not legal, regulatory, medical, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction. Platform behaviour, SDKs, and regulatory guidance all change, and an article that was accurate when written may not be accurate when you read it. Verify anything you intend to rely on against the current primary source.
Using the site
You may read, link to, quote, and share our articles with attribution. You may not:
- republish our content as your own or present it as generated by someone else
- use the site or its content to train a model or build a derivative dataset without our written permission
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it
- use automated tools in a way that degrades the site for other people
Intellectual property
The text, articles, design, code, and logos on this site are owned by DEVSFLOW Technologies Ltd. or used with permission, and are protected by Canadian and international copyright law.
Client names, logos, and trade marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and appear with permission to identify work our engineers contributed to. Their appearance is not an endorsement of DEVSFLOW by those companies beyond what is stated in the quoted references.
Client references and case studies
Quotations from clients are reproduced as written, with the source linked where the client published them publicly. Case studies describe work our engineers performed and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Results described for one client are not a prediction of results for another.
Links to other sites
We link to external sites, including client websites, platform documentation, and regulatory guidance. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it, including individual articles, without notice.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent the law allows.
We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.
This limitation applies to the website only. Liability for work we perform under an engagement is dealt with in the agreement covering that work.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here, with the date at the top of this page, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
